Mission Statement

NEGYFC-LogoSYA's mission is to establish, promote, and develop educational, cultural, and social activities for youth in Athens-Clarke County. We have been working for more than 10 years to provide positive outreach programs, which will be used to encourage youth to develop high self-esteem, maintain a positive attitude, respect for others, and to develop discipline needed to be successful in life. During this time we have provided youth football for the youth in our community (this program serves more than 120 children). Your generous support will help to make those efforts become reality. Our approach is twofold, first provide a safe and encouraging learning environment where participants can achieve academically and to provide support for the entire family. Your donation will provide equipment for youth who otherwise cannot afford the cost and will help provide resources for the after school tutorial program for the Stonehenge Youth Association Project R.E.A.D.Y program (Reaching Academics Daily).
